DigPilot’s innovative approach to machine control means that any fleet
that includes excavators or backhoes of almost any size can now benefit from machine control technology whether your you need to work in 2D, 3D or even want to have the option to work in either.

DigPilot 3D

The Revolution now available in 3D

DigPilot offers you excavator machine control in 2D or 3D on the machine you want, when you want.

DigPilot 3D integrates the unique benefits of DigPilot wireless technology with 3D survey models (DTM) and GPS/GNSS.

This allows the user to operate within a virtual 3D environment and gives the following added benefits to right first time excavation :

• Stakeless grading

• Documented work

• No referencing

• No need for lasers

As well as the more familiar benefits of :

 • Faster job completion

• Lower fuel costs

• Improved safety

• Reduced labour costs

• Reduced checking

• Less material waste

…. and still has the unique operating feature that a single DigPilot can be calibrated to work with up to 20 excavators.

Manage complicated construction sites

With DigPilot you get complete control over the site: You can switch between layers in the job design, view your site from multiple angles and distances, and a host of other functions that allow you to get the job done faster, safer and more accurate than ever before.

Data can be imported in a variety of formats including LandXML.

LandXML is becoming the standard for machine guidance on large construction sites. Roads, dams and every other construction project made with civil engineering software can be exported to a LandXML file and imported to your DigPilot via a USB stick.

Make Your Own Construction Projects

One of the truly unique and innovative features of DigPilot with GPS/GNSS, is the ease with which you can make your own construction projects. Building pits, grades, canals and trenches can be specified to your requirements by following simple on screen instructions. This removes the need for complex survey and DTM for when creating standard 3D profiles you are completely independent of lasers, stakes, benchmarks and other reference points.

By making your own projects you get full value of your system even when you have no project files available.

Document your work

Document your work progress in simple co-ordinate point format.

The coordinate points are stored in a file in which you for instance can add a comment for each coordinate point. The file can then be stored on a USB stick and read by other software.
